Got a Question
First time participating in LD! Excited to here about the theme, but I have a question. I’m using C# and XNA for the programming part and I’ll scrap together some graphics, but, I’ve never worked on music. Do I need to have original music, or can I have free-2-use music in my game? If that is not the case, can someone direct me to a good, free music program, and maybe some simple tutorials? Thanks so much for any help!

If you are participating in the 48h Compo, you need to have original music made within the timeframe. In the 72h jam, on the other hand, you can use pre-made music from the internet, though you want to be aware of legal rights when using them and it is requested you opt out of the music judging category. I’d read the rules page on the homepage’s right side bar for more information.
