But its just that I tried to do something so simple, yet managed to ruin my entire project, to the point where I don’t think I’ll be able to recover it in time. I am using Git for source control, but am more accustomed and familiar with SVN, but that has only slowed me down a tiny bit, not caused any problems. I probably will join next year because that was the frustration talking when I said I wasn’t going to, but we’ll see. Overall this has been a fun experience, so don’t get me wrong. I’m just mad at myself for ruining the end product.","spam":"N"},{"author_name":"porglezomp","time":"August 25, 2014 5:50 pm","epoch":1409007000,"text":"There’s not really an “in time” here, you can make vital fixes after the deadline. I managed to submit my entry the other day on time and I thought I was good to go after that. Today I realize there is a small bug that prevents my game from being playable. No problem, I’ll just wait until I get back from work and fix it. So I fix the bug and somehow I manage to undo all of my latest changes I made to my files so what I have left of my project is in an unplayable state and it has already been submitted. And I thought everything was going so well too. I’m starting to second guess joining again next year, now. This is just ridiculous.<\/p>","time":"August 25th, 2014 4:13 pm","title":"Speechless\u2026"}
