I challenged myself to make some music this weekend. I don’t have the programming chops (yet) to make a full game over the weekend, but music is something I can do.

All of the songs below are free for you to use (with attribution) and designed to loop perfectly in whatever project you have. There’s a wide variety of styles and genres. I’m really pleased with how this batch turned out. Going to work on filling out a few of them more.

First Track – Super chill and relaxed, good for towns, menus, etc.

Second Track – Upbeat, distorted, raw. Battle or boss music maybe?

Third Track – Dark and spooky, made from a request from a participating dev

Fourth Track – Upbeat and energetic, great for a shmup!

Fifth Track – Contemplative piano improvisation. Some bitcrushing and extra effects to create a nice ambient soundscape.

Sixth Track – Spacey piano track. Kind of new age.

Seventh Track – Funky Chiptune jams!

Eighth Track – Big orchestral prelude kind of thing.
