So we have three types of connection at play here &#8211; we have the airport location which acts as a point of connection between two different places, the personal connection to your partner, and the connection between you and a mysterious third person who becomes the subject of conversation.<\/p>\n <p>My friend Sandy is doing the art for the project: here&#8217;s a look at the phone from which the player interacts with their partner:<\/p>\n <p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/textbackgroundblank.png\"><img class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-382451\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/textbackgroundblank-300x225.png\" alt=\"textbackgroundblank\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/textbackgroundblank-300x225.png 300w, http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/textbackgroundblank-550x412.png 550w, http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/textbackgroundblank.png 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n <p>Isn&#8217;t that\u00a0<em>good<\/em>? And having it done makes the whole project feel more complete, more doable! The game is essentially asking the player to roll with the punches, to take in new information, use it to adjust their view of the scenario and make a response accordingly. You are essentially blagging your way through this dialogue tree &#8211; we don&#8217;t expect it to necessarily be\u00a0<em>fu<\/em><em>n\u00a0<\/em>per se, but hopefully it&#8217;s interesting.<\/p>","time":"August 24th, 2014 12:19 pm","title":"Day 2 of the jam \u2013 art and writing!"}
