After over an hour-and-a-half of thinking about the theme, trying to come up with an idea, I have found one.  It seems to be a fairly unique idea, not the best, but it will work.  I have decided to create a 2d software rendering engine, and decided on a grayscale game design, for simplicity (and I am terrible at art :))  Now that the image loading/rendering engine part is coded, I can get to work on the actual gameplay!  Good luck!
