We meet again
Alright, time to try this again. My first attempt at Ludum Dare was bad. It was not complete in time, and the amputated mess I pushed up was not really a game. The game it turned into in the week after was somewhat fun, and is still sitting in a repository somewhere getting ready to be worked on whenever I have a breakdown and get bored of my 3 current projects. One of those is the real time ray-tracer I wrote during LD26 instead of participating (since I had limited time during the compo-slot). One is 38k lines and growing, and irrelevant. The last is a small 2D renderer/engine in C written specifically to make LD30 a thing. And as is appropriate it is still buggy, incomplete and mostly untested just in time for LD30. Well, it’s usable, it will be better by the end of the weekend and it’s public domain here (github) if anyone feels like an adventure; or wants to look at it after the weekend when it might be pretty ok.
So, unstable renderer/engine uploaded for anyone to use, check. Ready for LD30, check. Let’s do this!
