My code base for LD30

Hello!

This is my first time participating, so I’m not expecting much of a result. I’m hoping to submit at least a playable prototype in the available 48 hours –  anything more than that will be surprising to say the least.

For my game, I will use the following tools:

  • Haxe (3.1.3.) – programming language, for cross-platform development
  • HaxePunk (2.5.3) – library, framework for game code
  • GIMP 2 – for art assets
  • Sfxr – for sound effects
  • FamiTracker – for music files
  • Excel Tilemap Level Editor (if required) – a tool of my own design

Since this is my first Ludum Dare, I fear the time limit will prove to biggest hurdle to leap over. With that in mind, I plan to divide my time equally among design, programming and asset production duties until one (or more) of those are complete.

I’ve developed one game so far and worked on a couple of unfinished projects. However, none of those took 48 hours or less to complete. I’m looking forward to the challenge!
