Unfortunately, this LD is the same weekend as a race I’m doing on Saturday, as well as a day of volunteering I’ll be doing for most of the day sunday. This means I’m losing about…. 5 hours on Saturday and another 9 hours on Sunday. I was never very fast in previous LD events either, so losing that time is pretty devastating \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n
But that’s not going to stop me from staying up Friday to participate in some of the excitement, as well as at least getting something down on paper to maybe make later. I’m also planning on streaming when I am at my desk and actually working. I tried it last time and my friends seemed to enjoy peeking in on me throughout the weekend, so I figured I would keep it going.<\/p>\n
Anyway, with all of that out of the way, let me get to my tools. Oh, I forgot to mention. I’m going to\u00a0try<\/em> for the compo but with losing so much time, I may try to finish on Monday. But of course, I’m seeing friends on Monday since it’s my last week at home before I leave for university \ud83d\ude1b What a perfectly busy weekend. Over the past month I’ve been learning SFML with C++, but I don’t think I’m quite ready to get started using that, especially with my additional time constraints. Well, that’s it!
