So this will be my 7th (8th?) Ludum Dare.

I have successfully completed a game 4 times starting back in LD 21. On a few occasions I have started and not completed for a variety of reasons including lack of motivation caused by buggy tools, illness and (on one very special weekend) alcohol poisoning.

The one bit of advice I would give to new people is to make sure you get the basics of error handling and testing done. It’s not as fun as coding new features but if your game is a crashy, buggy mess no one will like it.
