I&#8217;m in! This will be my third Ludum Dare and I&#8217;m so happy to do something blah blah blah and see how everyone else do blah blah blah and so on.<\/p>\n <p>Anyway, let me introduce you the tools I&#8217;m going to use:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li><strong>OS: <\/strong>Xubuntu (Windows is for them who do not know how to use Linux terminal)<\/li>\n <li><strong>Programming language: <\/strong>Html5\/Javascript<\/li>\n <li><strong>Framework: <\/strong>None (frameworks are for them who do not know how to do things without a framework)<\/li>\n <li><strong>Third-party libraries: <\/strong>howler.js (WebAudio API is too complex for rapid development) and Game Jolt API Javascript library<\/li>\n <li><strong>IDE: <\/strong>Eclipse<\/li>\n <li><strong>Graphics:\u00a0 <\/strong>Pinta + GIMP (too bad Paint.NET is no available for Linux&#8230;)<\/li>\n <li><strong>Audio: <\/strong>bfxr (sounds effects are all I need, although I might use PixiTracker for music)<\/li>\n <li><strong>Text editor: <\/strong>gedit<\/li>\n <li><strong>Web browser: <\/strong>Firefox and Chromium (for some reason 64-bit Ubuntu&#8217;s Firefox runs some HTML5 games very slowly so sometimes I have to use Chromium for debugging)<\/li>\n <li><strong>Other tools: <\/strong>Dropbox (I use two computers, one desktop and one laptop) and Linux terminal emulator (you will always need it when using Linux)<\/li>\n <\/ul>","time":"August 17th, 2014 5:03 am","title":"\u2018Why everyone is posting these \u201cI\u2019m in!\u201d posts?\u2019 I asked myself and decided to post an \u201cI\u2019m in!\u201d post."}
