Damn you internetprovider.<\/p>\n <p>Jesus! Not only have I entered and end my first Ludum Dare, I also created my very first game!<br \/>\n This is so exciting! I never thought that I will finish such a &#8220;big&#8221; project like a game, but I actually did!.<\/p>\n <p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/2metersbeneath4.png\"><img class=\"alignnone  wp-image-351560\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/2metersbeneath4-300x187.png\" alt=\"2metersbeneath4\" width=\"387\" height=\"241\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/2metersbeneath4-300x187.png 300w, http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/2metersbeneath4-550x343.png 550w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 387px) 100vw, 387px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n <p>And I&#8217;m totally in love with my unknown pixelart &#8220;skills&#8221;. :&gt;<br \/>\n Hayoo, okay enough from my exhilaration.<\/p>\n <p>What went right<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>the sprite stuff went out better then estimated, although they took the most time<\/li>\n <li>all of my coding ideas work, most of them are totally easy to reuse<\/li>\n <li>I&#8217;ve overcome all obstacles and problems, without becoming demotivated<\/li>\n <li>I&#8217;ve earned so much experience AND motivation, that&#8217;s really gold!<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>What went wrong<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>I started coding without any idea of the actual gameplay, that&#8217;s why this is a tamagotchi (engine, game, somewhat)<\/li>\n <li>I should prepare myself a little bit more, especially the thing with soundeffects<\/li>\n <li>the HUD. Seriously, that&#8217;s more kind of a command line then a HUD<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>Thanks for all the interesting posts about your games, LD community.
