Another Ludum Dare failed.
It’s my third LD failure.
First one I was learning how to code so it was understandably of poor quality.
Second one I took on too big a game to accomplish.
But this one I really though I’d make it, the game chosen was appropriately simple, there was a reasonable number of features and I implemented most of them. I worked 20 hours out of 48 which is way more than I did for the past two.
I feel like I fell very short of succeeding , if I had had 2 more hours I think I’d have made it but it’s the LD48 not the LD50 and to me working 2 hours past the deadline wouldn’t feel like success.
From the past two LD I learned some very valuable lessons, but this one … Sometimes it’s just bad luck I guess, or maybe I need to take some distance to figure out what went wrong.
Anyways, congrats to all of you guys for your games.
Ludum Dare is always fun whatever the outcome!
