Have you ever squinted your eyes at the sight of a peculiar object? Why do we do that? Doesn’t this just narrow our vision, making us see the given object even worse?<\/p>\n

Well\u2026 this habit helps us focus on an object\u2019s features, it helps us to see beneath its surface and behind its appearance, making the process of evaluating it a little bit easier (although the result might not be correct).<\/p>\n

In Inesco<\/em> you will wander through an apparently enchanting\u00a0and calm forest, but once you squint your eyes you will be able to see that danger lurks all around you. Everything is deceiving\u2026 Even after a close analysis\u2026<\/p>\n

The Latin word \u201cinesco\u201d means to entice or lure, to deceive.<\/p>\n

As you might have notice I’m trying to use game mechanics as a metaphor, as a result, the main goal of the game is to create the right mood, send a deep message and induce the right feelings. All of this in the detriment of fun.<\/p>\n

My progress so far includes setting up the project and coding the main mechanics of the game. I\u2019m going to do some rough 3D models and some textures in the next 3-4 hours. After that, I will post some screenshots.<\/p>\n
