Prioritising it over our own sleep and other needs, yeah, we <em>may<\/em> be the ones to blame for that. Either way, here we are again! Two brothers going on a marathon to create a game in 72h and then finish Dark Souls II before fainting and hibernating for a week! Last time we didn&#8217;t do too bad, as we made a complete game, so let&#8217;s see if we can do better&#8230; or (hopefully not!) worse!<\/p>\n <p>As with the previous time, we\u2019re going to use:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Unity\u00a0\u2013 for the complete game design.<\/li>\n <li>Inkscape\u00a0\u2013 for any kind of vector graphics.<\/li>\n <li>Paint.NET\u00a0\u2013 for any simple graphics.<\/li>\n <li>Audacity\u00a0&#8211; for the sound editing needs.<\/li>\n <li>Gimp\u00a0&#8211; for fancy effects!<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>Again, we&#8217;ll make use of resources from:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li><a title=\"Open Game Art\" href=\"http:\/\/opengameart.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">OpenGameArt.org<\/a>\u00a0(credits will be given properly in a case-by-case basis)<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>Finally, we\u2019ll make use of other sites to help us in general.<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>WordPress\u00a0&#8211; for the website.<\/li>\n <li><a title=\"Thesaurus\" href=\"http:\/\/thesaurus.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Thesaurus<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; for all of our wordy needs.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>We\u2019ll try to make updates as we go, but due to time constraints, it may not happen at all!<\/p>\n <p>PS: We&#8217;ll be hosting our game \/ site on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/nope.hol.es\/blog\/\">http:\/\/nope.hol.es\/blog\/<\/a>\u00a0, so you&#8217;re all welcome to come have a look to see it grow! <img src=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-includes\/images\/smilies\/simple-smile.png\" alt=\":)\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\" \/><\/p>","time":"April 25th, 2014 6:07 pm","title":"YOU JOINED \u2013 Dark Souls II and LD marathon!"}
