If you are like me and like writing in lua, but dont\u00a0 warm up to love 2d&#8217;s &#8220;every freaking thing goes to a callback&#8221; and are more comfortable with just plain ol procedural style of programming, I suggest you check either of the above out.<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Graphics = the gimp 2.6<\/li>\n <li>Sound FX = Bfxr<\/li>\n <li>Music = either atrk-bu.py (a &#8220;music&#8221; generator script published here some number of compos ago) along with modplug to edit, or if I have time to make my own bosca<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>Will be doing a timelapse using chronolapse<\/p>\n <p>Thats the plan for now, if the theme and my thoughts point to something fairly simple I may go retro &#8230; thinking Apple II, maybe MS-DOS, maybe 68k mac &#8230; Ill update (and everyone will be on the edge of their seat right?) if that comes about.<\/p>\n <p>I was going to post a desk photo, but its got a lot of junk and the flash showed me some gnarly dust bunnies I need to clean up on the edge next to the wall so &#8230; yea not going to post that, and the first thing I do after this is done is drag this thing from the wall and wipe everything down (shame too cause I recently got a really nice monitor I wouldn&#8217;t mind showing off)<\/p>\n <h4>Dev Machine Specs:<\/h4>\n <p>since this seems to be a thing this round here we go, not a bleeding edge top of the line machine, but it plays all current games at 1080 maxed out without hardly a jitter, so I be happy.<\/p>\n <p>AMD FX4170, 4.2Ghz quad core<\/p>\n <p>8GB DDR3 Ram @ 2.2Ghz<\/p>\n <p>AMD Radeon HD 6870 (1GB GDDR5)<\/p>\n <p>my nice new HP 23 inch LCD, great contrast ratio and MATTE screen (down with the glossy!)<\/p>\n <p>my wife ran the model M keyboard out of the bedroom a few LD&#8217;s ago, so I got a lenovo &#8230; which is not as good as even the older late 90&#8217;s early 2000&#8217;s IBM keyboards *shrug* ge mouse I bought at the grocery store at some point cause its ps\/2 and I have a few ps\/2 machines. finally some generic china drawing tablet.
