First time on ludum dare, any last minute advice for a newbie?

Will be using the following:

Java – not my favorite language out there… but

LibGDX – is fantastic to use!

Eclipse – all set up with a gorgeous dark theme!

Gimp/Photoshop – whatever is good for what I’m working on in terms of graphics

Sfxr – for sound effects

if I have time I would like to use either LMMS or Musescore to write my own music, otherwise I’ll try and find some ambient track generator

Got a busy week coming up after this weekend for school, but hopefully will find some time during and especially after to play everyone’s…. some… of your games!
