Count me in!","p_cat":"LD #29","p_event":"LD29","p_time":"1398435900","p_likes":"1","p_comments":"0","p_status":"UPD5","us_key":"18254","us_name":"Jason Lay","us_username":"jlay","event_start":"1398384000","event_key":"22","event_name":"LD29"},"text":"<p>I\u2019m in again!\u00a0 I have confidence and desire pumping through my veins.\u00a0 I feel it; this time it&#8217;s going to be awesome.<\/p>\n <p>I will be developing on Windows 8.1 x64.\u00a0 My weapons of choice will depend on the theme and how I decide to approach it.\u00a0 Rest assured they will consist of a mixture of the following:<\/p>\n <p><strong>\u00a0Engine:<\/strong><\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Unity 3D 4.3.4 with C# (using Visual Studio 2013) &#8211; or &#8211;<\/li>\n <li>GameMaker Studio Pro 1.2 with GML<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p><strong>\u00a0Art:<\/strong><\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Photoshop CS 5.5 (of course) and\/or Pickle 2.2.2<\/li>\n <li>Illustrator CS 5.5<\/li>\n <li>Flash CS 5.5 and\/or Anime Studio Pro 9<\/li>\n <li>Maya 2014 (Student) if I need 3D.<\/li>\n <li>Good ol\u2019 pencil and paper (wait what\u2019s that)!<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p><strong>Sound:<\/strong><\/p>\n <p>Will I even have time to implement sound?\u00a0 If so, I will definitely use:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Audacity<\/li>\n <li>Bfxr<\/li>\n <li>Musagi<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>Time permitting I will use <em>Garage Band<\/em> and\/or try out a demo of <em>FL Studio<\/em>.\u00a0 If I get this far, I promise I\u2019m going to drop a beat Dr. Dre would be proud of!<\/p>\n <p>Dropbox will be used as a working directory for all assets.\u00a0 No source control this go around (yikes)!<\/p>\n <p>The game will be web based and hosted on my personal site or via Dropbox.<\/p>\n <p>I\u2019ll be making a time lapse using Chronolapse and popping in and out of IRC via mIRC.<\/p>\n <p>Good luck everyone, let\u2019s have a great weekend.<\/p>\n <p>Let\u2019s do this; I\u2019m ready, are you?<\/p>\n <p>&nbsp;<\/p>","time":"April 25th, 2014 9:25 am","title":"LD #29?
