I’m In 2.0 WIth Unity!

Hi everyone! I am going to be using Unity 4.3 for the first time and was wondering if there is a strong learning curve to it? (In for the Jam)

I plan on doing tutorials and make a game today before tomorrow!

If you have any tips let me know!

Also I see how it says you get a 30 day trial of Unity Pro does that mean you can still use Unity standard version after that and still export games?

Let me know please in the comments!

I’m excited to join in!

Good Luck everyone! Vlogs updates will be on my youTube channel: SwipeFastStudios!

Unity is quite easy to learn, but you should definitely try to create a mini game before the actual LD action. From my experience aim very low and at all cost try finish it. Practice is everything! But most important, HAVE FUN!

To answer your other question: you can continue to use the standard version afterwards, but pro-only features will not work anymore. But for LD nad getting started the standard version is all you need.

Thanks a lot for the reply and the tips!I will try to make a basic game tonight but not sure if I thin I should use the new 2D functions they added instead of a hard 3D game with modelling and such. Also do you know an easy way to share the game on a webpage or would it be easier just to export the game into a standalone file? :) thanks
