Watson. Definitely Watson.

Alright. So I’m in. But who is “I”? I’m not sure this time. My friend who I often work with (she does art) can’t do it. Does this mean I’m going solo? Or will I find a partner before next weekend? Only time shall tell.

This will be my third Ludum Dare, but I’ve also done two Mini-LDs and the Flappy Jam. Check out all of my previous games here!

So here are the tools I’ll be using, if anyone’s interested:

Programming/Engine: Unity, using JavaScript as my scripting language and Monodevelop as my IDE.

Art: Probably makepixelart.com and GIMP, Photoshop if I decide to get fancy for any reason. There’s also a chance I’ll stick with geometric art (read: totally not programmer art) instead.

SFX: sfxr, cause it’s awesome.

Music: Autotracker? It makes great music, but the music doesn’t loop! WolframTones? Can’t seem to get this working, but I’m gonna keep trying! Maybe some Creative Commons music if I go for the Jam, because you can’t use it in the Compo, correct?

Font: You can use Free For Commercial Use fonts from dafont.com in the Compo, right?

And one more thing: If I do enter into the Compo and not the Jam, how do I share my source code, since I’m using Unity?
