I’m in!!

I’ve never been entered any Ludum Dare. Or mini LD.

The team is me and my girlfriend. She wants to be an artist so she’s making the graphics. I’m not sure what we’re going to do with sounds and music. I suppose we’ll just record them (yeah, I make sfx out of actual sounds).

Oh, and I’m using FlashDevelop as the IDE, programming in Haxe, and the library is HaxePunk. I guess she’s using ms paint.

I’ll set everything up, go to sleep and wake up early. Though it’s 0 am here in Buenos Aires, my brain works better early in the morning than late at night.

For art try, some free open source software like paint.net or gimp. paint .net is easier to learn but not as powerful compared to gimp. But in terms of creating content from scratch its down to skill and patience and doesn’t matter what software you use, so don’t bother with photoshop. But I really recommend to even try paint.net, it will make your girlfriends life an awful lot easier.

For sounds, I recommend BFXR, it’s a software that makes sounds from various genres (Shoot, Coin pickup, ect)
