But none the less, I really wanted to do it, because I felt like there&#8217;s a lot of easy little touches to make it a much more rewarding experience.<\/p>\n <p>This was my first Unity game, and while I fooled around a little in Unity before the jam, I didn&#8217;t really expect to make a point and click game, which isn&#8217;t a genre I&#8217;ve developed before, and thus had a few tricks to learn.<\/p>\n <p>As of now, the post compo version features:<\/p>\n <p>* A box behind the hover text for actions, which makes more readable under many conditions.<\/p>\n <p>* A neeeattttooooo possession animation, as well as a floating animation.<\/p>\n <p>* Less chance of being lost at sea.<\/p>\n <p>* A fixed text box.<\/p>\n <p>* The bucket list pops up and makes a noise when you complete an item, which creates a much better a much more obvious sense of feedback and accomplishment.<\/p>","time":"December 19th, 2013 10:12 pm","title":"Post compo version"}
