Finished! MAKE IT COUNT (but more time would have been nice)

lose2 losegreen win

I finished! (barely) It’s the first Ludum Dare I’ve finished, and actually the first game I’ve uploaded to the internet publicly.

MAKE IT COUNT is a game about precision and rapid playthroughs. You get one bullet per gun, and you have to get a new gun from an enemy before you can fire again.

Initially the game was designed with multiplayer in mind, and then in the last 4 hours I decided to add in a single-player mode. It came down to the wire, and unfortunately the level design suffered as a result. Despite it being incredibly easy to make levels there’s only 4-ish levels, with one being the multiplayer arena. I made all of the levels in the last 20 minutes, and it was a mad rush to just get it to work. As a result the levels are all pretty bad, but there’s still some semblance of fun to be had still!

If you have a spare friend check out the level that looks like an arena and play some deathmatch! When one player fires their gun the other player gets a gun. It’s designed to create a hectic back and forth feel.
