I just completed my first Ludum Dare, and my first game made in Twine! While I may not have made a ‘game’ so much as a piece of interactive fiction, using Twine allowed me to focus on the story and actually get done, which is definitely worth something!

I was a big fan of the theme, and came up with an interpretation I think is pretty interesting (which you could probably assume by the fact that I wrote it).

Drawing on inspiration from sources like Death Note and 100 Bullets, it’s a game I hope will make you think a little, and have some fun while doing it!

The story focuses on Mark, an average guy who receives a strange package containing a black string and a letter from the mysterious ‘Murder Industries’.

He learns that if cut, the string will kill whoever he’s thinking of – but he only has one hour to decide who to use it on, and only one chance to get it right.

Deciding that this could be a force for good, Mark sets out to discover who the worst person in the world is so that he can kill them – but ultimately, the decision is up to you, the player.
