24 hours in and despite the tricky theme, I’ve got something going that I’m pretty happy with. I’m using Love2d, SFXR and Paint.NET for everything. Here’s what I’ve got so far:

You’ve Only Got One® home planet! Defend it! (Not a metaphor for global warming)

Blow up the incoming asteroids with your gun. Yep, that’s all there is to it (baby steps).
