So I’ve been watching the past two LDs, and this year I decided to participate for the first time. \u00a0When I heard the theme, I knew immediately that I wanted to do something steampunk related, and\u00a0I came up with Hippie Horde<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Looking back on this, my thought process was \u00a0probably something like “Maybe a big steampunk machine. \u00a0Hippies wouldn’t like that. \u00a0Maybe they should be the enemies. \u00a0But how would I have a story\u00a0that makes sense? \u00a0Oh! \u00a0I could add a time machine. \u00a0What kind of time machine? \u00a0Oh! \u00a0It could be a Tardis!”<\/p>\n

So for my first Ludum Dare I made a game where there is a steampunk generator, a horde of hippies, and a Tardis. \u00a0All in the same game. \u00a0I don’t know if I should be proud of that or not.<\/p>\n

Anyway, a HUGE thanks to everyone who made Ludum Dare possible. \u00a0Your work is very appreciated. \u00a0And also a thanks to POV for running LD for so long. \u00a0Hope you have some\u00a0opportunities to rest over your “break” (I don’t even know if it’s right to call it a break, considering how hard you’re probably working!)<\/p>\n

Great job to everyone who participated. \u00a0Now to go play some new games!<\/p>\n \n
