So when the theme was announced I was excited to get started.\u00a0 I try not to think about the potential themes too much before the compo starts, so when I sat down to brainstorm for the first time I had a potential list of… nothing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So I decided to take the advice of many of the Ludum Dare veterans and sleep on it.\u00a0 When I woke up this morning… still nothing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So I’m lying in bed thinking about what I can do when I have a random thought.\u00a0 It is of a wizard who is double jumping by firing a spell downwards, which propells him up.\u00a0 So running with that (I was getting a little desperate) here’s the pitch…<\/p>\n

Here’s Wizzy!<\/p><\/div>\n

This is Wizzy, who is a little nervous because today is the day of his Wizard Trials<\/strong> and he only knows one spell.\u00a0 While his peers are shooting fireballs, teleporting, summoning beings from beyond, and all that stuff, all Wizzy can do is fire a little emergy ball.\u00a0 It can’t even kill anything!\u00a0 How will Wizzy complete the trials with only a single, useless spell?<\/p>","time":"December 14th, 2013 7:09 am","title":"Wizards Trials are tougher with only one spell\u2026"}
