I actually got a Team!

Cool! I partnered up with my friend since 3rd or 4th grade from Dayton, Ohio; so now I’m just doing the jam. We have made games together since middle school? and have never really finished a project before. Since then I have made a few game projects that have been finished on my own and he went to school for Comp Sci, so this will hopefully be the first finished game that we’ve ever made together. We are going to make a puzzle game in FlashPunk about You Only Getting One. ^ Above is a picture of Mike making something one w/ his hands.

This is some super secret Google+ Hangouts information that you can’t see cuz of the watermark. I’m the Snoopy guy, he’s the default image guy. Half of us working on this has been him explaining to me how GitHub works so we can transfer files. The other half has been doodling square and talking about late 00’s 4chan memes and how Rick Roll is an actually good song (why else would it have a music video?).

^ That is a few screenshot of some stuff I was making for the compo before I had a team. I’m basically going to be making a more fleshed out idea about what I was going to do for the compo, but instead for the jam the game won’t have a duck avatar, won’t have any real player avatar (so we think now [hahaha]), will be made with an extra person (who will be coding [in flash {and the game won’t be in Multimedia Fusion 2}]), and will be more fun and chill to make instead of me stressing about how good my duck animations & coding skills will be.

Right now we are taking a break so I can blog and we can both get some stuff to eat because we both know the hours will be long before this game is over. Have fun everyone and remember that gaming is the best medium ever and is so superior to movies and books. We are all here to learn a lot and to make friends. <3
