So over the warmup weekend I took the time to put together my base code that I intend to use for my LD 28 game. It is JavaScript code using HTML5\/canvas and is basically an improved combination of the game engines I wrote during LD 26 and LD 27.<\/p>\n <p>To adhere to the Compo rules and to give you all the\u00a0possibility to use my code as well, I have pushed my base code to github: <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/ZYXer-\/ludum-dare-base-code\">https:\/\/github.com\/ZYXer-\/ludum-dare-base-code<\/a><\/p>\n <p>The base code consists of:<br \/>\n &#8211; a basic game loop<br \/>\n &#8211; mouse\/keyboard input processing<br \/>\n &#8211; image preloading<\/p>\n <p>I&#8217;ve also included some of my personal libraries for:<br \/>\n &#8211; loading and displaying PNG fonts<br \/>\n &#8211; particle systems<br \/>\n &#8211; pathfinding (using A*)<\/p>\n <p>I&#8217;m distributing the code under the GPL2 license, so feel free to use any part of it for your own project.
