In just about 3 days and I have yet to find out if I actually am going to participate.<\/p>\n <p>I guess with Ludum Dare, you&#8217;ll never know &#8211; and then, maybe deep inside, you do.<\/p>\n <p>Currently the plan is, if life does not get in the way, to develop my game using the following setup:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li><strong>OS<\/strong>: Ubuntu 12.04<\/li>\n <li><strong>Engine\/framework\/language<\/strong>: HTML5 with MelonJS<\/li>\n <li><strong>Editor<\/strong>: Sublime Text 2<\/li>\n <li><strong>Graphics<\/strong>: Pickle<\/li>\n <li><strong>Sound<\/strong>: Don&#8217;t know yet<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>I have never used MelonJS before, but have setup the boilerplate and looked into the official tutorial, and it seems straightforward. Last LD I used a more basic framework, Corquette, and was actually quite succesful. But this time around, I wanted to go with a framework that has a little more to offer.<\/p>\n <p>In another perspective I have actually prepared quite find; yesterday I made a delicious Pumpkin (hokkaido) soup that may last several days. So I need not worry about keeping myself alive. (Just remember to get some sleep to, and I&#8217;ll be fine.)<\/p>","time":"December 9th, 2013 11:44 pm","title":"I am in?"}
