This will be the third time, after skipping last LD.

A quick google search led me to believe I will be the first one to declare using the JUCE C++ framework. I will be typing my code in XCode, and compling for OSX and Windows. Web is still not my cup of tea, so with those to platforms I hope to still reach a lot of people.

As last time I will set some personal goals. This time I will either focus on interactive sound/music or AI, depending on the theme. So maybe a music game, an abstract atmospheric thing, or something with self “thinking” agents as computer opponents…. Graphics are still not my strong point so I am not going to waste much time with that, and target a high score in either Audio or Innovation. Beating my top Overall score of 3.34 would also be nice.

Tools:

Code: JUCE, XCode
Graphics: Pixen, GIMP, pen/paper/camera, Generative
Audio: Audacity, Ableton Live, Field Recorder, Generative
Timelapse: Own bash scipt

Oh and just as last times, I will be only working on it on saturday, so its a ~14hr game jam for me again.

Good luck all!!

December 8th, 2013 9:05 am
I too, am in"}
