I guess because everyone is doing one of these update thingamajigs, I will write one too. The first thing I thought after seeing the theme was that the compo is going to be flooded by games where you have to complete an objective in under 10 seconds. I had this picture in my head of tons of minigames, all completed within 10 seconds. After sitting down for a while I decided I wanted to go with something that nobody else would do, which is where I got the idea for my unnamed game. I started by thinking of other definitions for seconds, and I came up with the number (2). This brought to mind the idea of getting medals, which continued to me deciding to make my game about getting your 10th second place at the olympics. A few minutes ago, with my basic engine down, I decided it will play a bit like sonic, where you just run and gather second place medals. To make things interesting I will probably be adding a few puzzle aspects, or something along those lines.
