{"author_name":"Cheshyr","cat":"LD #27","comments":[],"epoch":1377114240,"likes":0,"metadata":{"p_key":"41697","p_author":"Cheshyr","p_authorkey":"20497","p_urlkey":"77320","p_title":"metaCrow ready for Ludum Dare 27","p_cat":"LD #27","p_event":"LD27","p_time":"1377114240","p_likes":"0","p_comments":"0","p_status":"UPD5","us_key":"20497","us_name":"Cheshyr","us_username":"cheshyr","event_start":"1377216000","event_key":"18","event_name":"LD27"},"text":"<p>Ludum Dare 26 Compo was my first attempt at a Game Jam, and it was quite the experience. \u00a0My entry for Minimalism, called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ludumdare.com\/compo\/ludum-dare-26\/?action=preview&amp;uid=20497\">Miximal<\/a>, was a little too generic in most areas, but I did manage to pull off a #84 in audio, of 1609 Comp entries. \u00a0This made me happy.<\/p>\n <p>Since them, I&#8217;ve had a couple false starts on various game ideas. \u00a0The Indiecade \/ Oculus VRJam was next on my list; a 3 week slow jam to create VR content for the Oculus Rift. \u00a0The Aug 3rd to Aug 25th schedule eclipsed both 7dfps, and LD27. \u00a0\u00a0Earlier this week, I aborted my <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.oculusvr.com\/forums\/viewtopic.php?f=51&amp;t=3374\">lagging attempt<\/a>, and found myself with an unexpected free weekend, and a burning need to <em>finish a damn game<\/em>. LD26 was an amazingly positive experience, so I&#8217;m back for LD27.<\/p>\n <p>Tools:\u00a0Unity3D, Autodesk ECS, Adobe CS6, NI Komplete 8.<\/p>\n <p>Libraries: Intro screen. \u00a0Seriously, that&#8217;s all I&#8217;ve got.<\/p>\n <p>Targets: WebPlayer, Windows, OSX, Linux<\/p>\n <p>Let&#8217;s do this.<\/p>","time":"August 21st, 2013 2:44 pm","title":"metaCrow ready for Ludum Dare 27"}
