I&#8217;ll be in the compo category, likely. Previously, I have done a jam with a partner and failed. I also made my first game (which I am not proud of so never showed anyone) in a self-imposed game-jam structure.<\/p>\n <p>I recently started my own solo fps project. I realized though, that my art-style needs a bunch of polishing, and I have no idea how to make the FPS viewpoint <em>feel<\/em>\u00a0 both right and immersive. So I decided, as my digital-art\u00a0 art-style has improved much over focused sessions of drawing via shading. Bringing a similar treatment to the skills involved with crafting not just a game, but an <em>experience <\/em> is something I hope to do with the upcoming jams.<\/p>\n <p>Aims:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Experiment with camera and interface movement<\/li>\n <li>Experiment with art-styles and representations<\/li>\n <li>Become faster and more effective<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>Tools:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Unity 3D (Free license)<\/li>\n <li>GIMP<\/li>\n <li>Blender 3D<\/li>\n <li>SFXR<\/li>\n <\/ul>","time":"August 13th, 2013 11:36 pm","title":"Participating in warmup weekend + Marmalade"}
