Okay, so, I’d just like to say I had a BLAST for my first Ludum Dare, and I’m totally happy with my scores, as I got better than I thought I did.<\/p>\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n

So I got #721 out of 1610 games, which is just FANTASTIC. I really didn’t think I’d get anywhere above 1000, but I did! Many thanks, really. Now, it appears the section(s) I ranked the highest in were Fun and Graphics. The “fun” factor was what I was definitely focusing on, and I’m glad it worked out. Pixel Burst’s fast-paced arcade style gameplay is great for short spurts, heck, I find myself going back to play it a few times to see just how many points I can rack up :3<\/p>\n

I’m\u00a0surprised\u00a0on the graphics side, as I just wanted to convey a retro feel, but nothing fancy.<\/p>\n

The fact that Theme and Innovation were towards the end wasn’t too shocking for me, because I admit, I was having a little too much fun, and I forgot to actually focus on the theme ^_^’<\/p>\n
