so this was my first LD and I’m rather satisfied with the results. I wasn’t expecting too much but I was hoping to break into the top 100 and it turns out I did !

Highlights in my ranking include#45 in fun and #74 overall. Every other score is rather average, my game’s worst ranking being #459 in innovation. One small disappointment was my theme ranking of #371 as I felt using “minimalism” as a gameplay mechanic was a good idea, but oh well, I’m never very good with themes. 😛

I was glad to see a lot of constructive comments about my game. it seems the main gripe with the game was the controls and i can get behind that to an extent. some also complained about the difficulty and, again, I can understand that; I’m terrible at balancing things.

One thing about rating though is that apparently some people don’t like using “N/A” ? I mean BLM ended up #247 in humor even though there is *none*. no dialogues, no story, no nothing. I find that kind of demeaning to the people who actually put effort into that aspect of their game. but aside from that, no major complaints. 😛
