The August LD is always right around my birthday, no it’s never a great time for me to work on a game! Regardless, I’ve been trying my best to prepare in advance, but there’s only so much one can do before knowing a theme!<\/p>\n

Soooo, I’ve been finding myself a bit stuck trying to square my original idea with the Ancient Technology theme. I want to make a game where you drive around various vehicles (such as ambulance, pizza deliver car, fire truck) in a mad panic. I know I could make the game kind of Flintstones-style\u2014a tongue-in-cheek\u00a0interpretation of the ancient world, but I doubt I have the capacity to execute such an art style; and\u00a0it probably wouldn’t have the feeling I want anyway.<\/p>\n

Anyway, here’s a first screenshot. All assets are currently from the Unity Store. We’ll see if I have time to make something more original!<\/p>\n
