I wanted to do too much things for 48 hours and not having much experience with programming. So I decided to make a simple game in next Ludum Dare&#8230; and there it is &#8211; &#8220;Out Of Darkness&#8221;<\/p>\n <p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ludumdare.com\/compo\/ludum-dare-26\/?action=preview&amp;uid=17616\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-252676\" alt=\"Untitled-2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Untitled-22-300x225.png\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Untitled-22-300x225.png 300w, http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Untitled-22-550x413.png 550w, http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Untitled-22.png 1025w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Theme was great for my plan. The goal is to escape from darkness by only hearing sounds and seeing light.<\/p>\n <p>The most minimalistic way to make a game <img src=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-includes\/images\/smilies\/simple-smile.png\" alt=\":)\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\" \/><\/p>\n <p><strong>What went right:<\/strong><\/p>\n <ul>\n <li><span style=\"line-height: 13px\">I have finished my Ludum Dare entry but&#8230; (read what went wrong)<\/span><\/li>\n <li>Made a simple game as I wanted.<\/li>\n <li>I know \u00a0more now about Slick2D features.<\/li>\n <li>I think I came out with a good idea for this theme.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p><strong>What went wrong:<\/strong><\/p>\n <ul>\n <li><span style=\"line-height: 13px\">&#8230; it was made only in 13 hours. (9 hours of programming + 4 hours to remove all bugs). But why only in 13 hours? There was 35 hours still to add more features or details BUT I had to finish my school competition project. YES I didn&#8217;t plan properly my weekend.<\/span><\/li>\n <li>I had (and still have) \u00a0a problem with applet version. Every time when game play sound it freezes whole browser and java console.\u00a0<strong>Have someone a solution for this?<\/strong><\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p><strong>Conclusion:<\/strong><\/p>\n <p>I love this competition and I will participate until I die. I have still much things to learn but I like it!
