{"author_name":"Alic Szecsei","cat":"LD #26","comments":[],"epoch":1367174400,"likes":2,"metadata":{"p_key":"43854","p_author":"Alic Szecsei","p_authorkey":"15297","p_urlkey":"79509","p_title":"It\u2019s Done!","p_cat":"LD #26","p_event":"LD26","p_time":"1367174400","p_likes":"2","p_comments":"0","p_status":"UPD5","us_key":"15297","us_name":"Alic Szecsei","us_username":"aszecsei","event_start":"1366934400","event_key":"16","event_name":"LD26"},"text":"<p>Happy days, my project has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ludumdare.com\/compo\/ludum-dare-26\/?action=preview&amp;uid=15297\" target=\"_blank\">concluded<\/a>.\u00a0 Not entirely thrilled with it (as usual) but I can&#8217;t think of any changes I really want to make at this point.<\/p>\n <p>Good:<\/p>\n <ol>\n <li>I like the aesthetic of it, and I think that turned out well.<\/li>\n <li>The jump scare ended up being pretty good, which surprised me since I have no experience with creating horror.<\/li>\n <\/ol>\n <p>Bad:<\/p>\n <ol>\n <li>I didn&#8217;t make a story for it.\u00a0 It&#8217;s not such a big deal, and it&#8217;d complicate the game, but I think next time I&#8217;m going to work from a narrative perspective rather than that of pure gameplay.<\/li>\n <li>I have a lot to learn about sound design.\u00a0 The majority of the sound this time was &#8220;Let me do random things and see how it works,&#8221; and I had no idea how to go about it other than raw experimentation.<\/li>\n <li>It&#8217;s short, and ultimately not a big play-again-and-again game.\u00a0 Maybe once or twice, but that&#8217;s about it.<\/li>\n <\/ol>\n <p>Now for the fun part: playing everyone else&#8217;s stuff!<\/p>\n <p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n \n <p>Tags: <a href=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/tag\/finally-done\/\" rel=\"tag\">finally done<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/tag\/reflection\/\" rel=\"tag\">reflection<\/a><\/p>","time":"April 28th, 2013 1:40 pm","title":"It\u2019s Done!"}
