Ok, I’ve gone to sleep just after the theme release, and woke up a hour and half ago. Now it’s 7:30 AM here in Brazil and I’ll go to work, but doing already some sketches of the art while I’m there.\u00a0Unfortunately I’ll only code tomorrow and monday, because of job.<\/p>\n
I was hoping to go with an old design of mine, which I call “Villagers of The Stone Age”, a kind of First-Person City\u00a0Builder. But that would rely too much on a nailed\u00a0AI to work, and I doubt I would manage to do that on the little time I have.<\/p>\n
So I’m going with an arcade-style (8bit graphics plus chiptunes) sci-fi roguelike where the Protagonist traverse the galaxy (each level a planet, ten levels) looking for clues to find the location of the mythic planet Earth, where some half-witted not-exactly-scientists claim that Humanity first evolved. He will have to scavenge the ruins of millenia-old cities and colonies, and will have to fight the resistance of an old grumpy religious fundamentalist Secret Society.<\/p>\n
And of course he will find some helping figures, like Isaac on Trantor, Philip on Sirius, and Sid on Alpha Centaury. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n
