Piet Mondrian Is Trying To Kill You

I made something resembling a game. Play it here!

WASD/arrows to move. Try to avoid new colors, but don’t worry about the ones you have already touched. The game “ends” after you have touched all three colors.

Next up is some kind of scoring system, and then sound. This is really one of those games that works best when everything’s grooving along to a nice tune.

I quite like the effect of the lines. Some indication of how opaque a colour must be before it attacks you would be really nice.

Yeah, I’ll add something “snappy” to make it obvious when a box is fully-formed. The devil’s in the details when things get simple :\

awesome!

maybe the game could try to add less of the colors that you do have. e.g. i touched yellow and red, so the game should dump more blue on me than normal.

Could be good, could be a pain. The thing with that is it makes it more likely that you’ll get boxed into a corner and hit with no chance to escape. I’m definitely trying to come up with a way to make things more interesting after you’ve been hit once or twice.
