I made a choice between “starting on time” and “getting enough sleep.”<\/p>\n

Sleep won, as it often does. I do wish I’d been up to get the theme percolating in my mind earlier, though.<\/p>\n

So, ancient technology, huh? Time to do some research. As a cop-out I could go for ancient\u00a0game<\/em> technology — or so I did consider, but our most ancient games, Chess, Go and Backgammon, are quite difficult to implement very fast.<\/p>\n

Ancient\u00a0weapons<\/em> technology is under consideration. I’d prefer building something instead, though, but we shall see.<\/p>\n
