I’ve never been part of Ludum Dare before, but I thought it’d be fun to try this time.<\/p>\n

In my game, you’re playing as a green cube. For some reason, your only hope is to get to the top, in a platformer-esque style.<\/p>\n

I’m writing in Javascript, with Canvas to render stuff. Because of this, you can play it right in the browser, with no need to download anything, not even browser plugins \ud83d\ude00 If you wanna have a look for yourself at the latest working version of the game, feel free to go to mortie.tk\/webapps\/LDgame<\/a>. Keep in mind though that this is currently a very early version, I haven’t even started making maps yet.<\/p>\n

Currently, the game is named Greenfolks. I don’t know if this name will stick – I guess we’ll have to wait and see :p<\/p>\n

Controls:
\n A and D to move left and right, space to jump.
\n Exit the screen on the right side, enter on the left side – and vice versa.
\n You cannot control while in the air.<\/p>\n

To do:
\n Death when falling down.
\n Moving platforms, deadly platforms, etc.
\n Level editor, mostly for my own use.
\n Making levels.<\/p>\n
