I started off the night doing the Google Code Jam, which delayed me a couple hours from checking the theme and thinking about it. Not going to lie, I’m disappointed with the them. Some stuff came to mind, though. Most interesting was that “minimalis” is used in the species name of various moths. I considered doing something moth oriented, but nothing came to mind.

After one night, this is what I have:

Currently it’s a light mix of Piet Mondriaan and Go. Turn based multiplayer game. Prototyped it with pennies on a bar stool, and am looking forward to testing it with others tomorrow at one of the real world gatherings.
