Woke up shocked to see that the theme chosen for Ludum was the same theme I was used to make an old game. Spent some time reading other people’s entries to see how they react to this theme.

Surprisingly, I look like I’m the only one who was able to come up with a legit fun game just by reading the theme title.

I was working on a game before entering Ludum called “Retro Runner”. I scrapped the game later on because the game wasn’t that fun.

BUT, now that the theme is minimalism I can use my old game as inspiration and direction :). Just to see where I failed and what I did right. And of course, not to steal any assets (I am entering the main 2 day competition after all)

Anyway, here are some screenshots of Retro Runner. Maybe they will help someone else come up with some ideas?
