I done goofed!

i uploaded my entry but i can already tell ive done badly. The first 24 hours were spent cathing up on missed sleep and thinking of ideas. The 2nd 24 hours were a good friends birthday which couldnt be avoided. So all the actual making took place in the last 24 hours. And i greatly underestimated the time i needed to do what i had planned.

What i did right:

1. i got a steady plan made and did some design sketches and prioritized what needed doing

2. i told the other members of my group exactly what their roles were and what i needed from them

What i got wrong:

1. underestimated the time it would take to complete my project, especially bug fixes

2. i assumed i had time to do things i considered more important

3. i took part when i should have known things had already been planned for the competition date

fortunately though, i feel this has been a successful first ludum dare for me. my entry isnt great but i know now what to expect from the dare and have gained experience from taking part. next time i will aim to come up with a solid idea quicker and not let myself get distracted as much. and at the very least i got a cool new wallpaper out of it, courtesy of my title screen image designer!
