I&#8217;m doing the compo, but may switch to the jam if time is a problem at the end.<\/p>\n <p>Tools: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.godotengine.org\">Godot Engine 2.1<\/a>, Aseprite, Krita, graphics tablet, Propellerhead Reason 8 and probably bfxr.<\/p>\n <p>I got several years of coding experience, but am relatively new to the art stuff. I use Godot Engine because i don&#8217;t have to worry about the lower level stuff and can get right into gameplay coding and art creation. I chose it over Unity and other options because it is free, open source and relatively lightweight. I also like the way how it organizes game objects and stuff.
