I have an idea:

you aren’t the main villain, you’re one of his or her lackies. In this case, said lacky will be an awesome badass cool dude who does all the dirty work and undergoes a huge villain arc and eventually being redeemed in the end kinda villain.

one badass dude. I will probably make the sprites better and more detailed than that though.
