compo deadline missed, still smiling
So, by the time you are reading this, the compo deadline has come and passed. I didn’t get my game to where I wanted it, but I’m still happy with what I accomplished. The time I put into participating in ld48-24 has been greatly rewarded with enjoyment, learning experiences, and inspiration.
Like many others, I will be returning to my normal programming job tomorrow, and probably won’t have enough time to follow up on my game in time for the jam. This to, is something I can happily accept, because my drive to make video-games has been refreshed in the last 48 hours. I have many plans for where to take the ideas conjured while working on my entry, and I’m excited and ready to explore them further. Who knows, maybe I can take my entry far enough to do a real release some day, and entertain some of the fine folks who play indie games.
If you want to see how far I got, and take it for a test-drive, you can check out my entry here
And, if you have an inkling to see how it was made, you can check out it’s git repo here
Thanks for the great time, I look forward to seeing you all next ld48
