Aiming for the compo! Good luck everyone!

Second time for me here, I had an artist the first time, we had an amazing start, but we never managed to finish the thing :( But it was really a great experience for both of us, we had a crazy amount of fun.

So now, going for the compo rather than the jam. Thing is I have zero artistic skills, if I manage to make it in time, it would definitely be a game with potato art. I dunno, you veterans out there got any tips to give? I’d love to hear from everyone!

And good luck to all of you too! And make sure that you’re not competing against others, nor against the time, but ultimately against procrastination and lack of creativity, making the game is all that matters.

1) Choose an art style and accept

2) Simple and clean beats complex and ugly(use shapes if you have to)

3) Make up for the art in music

4) Mechanics trump content

5) DONT FORGET TO SAVE >_<
