I hesitate between Python and C++, but I guess that will depend not only on the theme, but on what I want to do. Python is simple and straightforward (I&#8217;ll use pygame), but with C++ (I&#8217;ll probably stick to SDL) you have more control over the game engine&#8230; I think ?<\/p>\n <p>I plan to code a few very simple games until the LD come, so I can get ready for it.<\/p>\n <p>If you have any tips for a newcomer, I&#8217;m willing to hear them.<\/p>\n <p>Else, I&#8217;ll probably see you on the battlefield.
